Easy Canvas Prints Review

EasyCanvasPrints For Fantastic Graduation Pics!!

My handsome son at his graduation in June!!

I was really excited when I was approached to do a review for Easy Canvas Prints! I had admired their work at other blogs and was super excited to finally get a Canvas for myself.

The process of creating and ordering my Easy Canvas Print was fantastic! It was really easy and once you have picked your picture and created your canvas you can preview what it will look like in case you want to make any changes. I really liked that feature; seeing it before you complete your order ensures you have exactly what you want.

I did not have a shortage of photos to pick from-my son just graduated from high school in June. It was so special to be able to pick my favorite graduation photo and turn it into a work of art.

I love how they captured the crowd in the background and everything just seemlessly wraps around the canvas for a fantastic photo!!

I hope to be able to work with EasyCanvasPrints in the future! I am extremely happy with my amazing Canvas Print!!

You can check out their website at http://www.easycanvasprints.com/

I received my 8x10" canvas print free of charge from EasyCanvasPrints in exchange for an honest review. All opinions expressed in this posting are my own. No other compensation was or will be received.

Endorse is no more

I absolutely loved the Endorse app for my smartphone! I received a very sad email this morning from them saying they are now closed down, please cash out your money and points. I used Endorse way more than I used Ibotta. I still use Ibotta, but they do not have a lot of items that I buy at the store so my opportunities with them are pretty limited. That is why I loved Endorse so much. I always got cash back on coffee, dog food, fast food-things that we actually buy all the time anyway. I will now have to keep a closer eye on Ibotta for deals for upcoming shopping trips. I hope they start to add more than Kool-aid and Capri Suns and frozen foods.

Sorry you are leaving Endorse, you will be missed!

By the way, if you are an Endorse user you only have until the end of the month to cash out your earned money and/or points. If you wait too long it will be too late!

Review: Michael Bublé-To Be Loved

  • Everyone's favorite Canadian crooner is back again, finding his harmony while making his way through the American songbook (and looking oh-so dapper in a suit)!

I had not really listened to Michael very much before this; except maybe a few Christmas songs. I really liked most of the songs on this To Be Loved album. One of my favorites was "Have I Told You Lately That I Love You." My dad used to say that to me whenever I saw him! That song brought back some pretty special memories. Which makes his quote about his latest work ring very true. Michael says:

  • "I want to take you on a wonderful journey about love—all different kinds of love,Michael says. "The album swings big time: it rocks, it’s soulful, it’s happy, sometimes a little sad. It’s romantic, it’s yummy, and it’s heartfelt."

Definitely makes me remember the love I had for my Dad and the love he had for me :)

There are quite a few songs on this newest album; check out the track list:

To Be Loved Track Listing:
1. "You Make Me Feel So Young"
2. "It's a Beautiful Day"
3. "To Love Somebody"
4. "Who's Lovin You"
5. "Something Stupid" (featuring Reese Witherspoon)
6. "Come Dance with Me"
7. "Close Your Eyes"
8. "After All" (featuring Bryan Adams)
9. "Have I Told You Lately That I Love You" (with Naturally 7)
10. "To Be Loved"
11. "You've Got a Friend in Me"
12. "Nevertheless (I'm in Love with You)" (featuring The Puppini Sisters)
13. "I Got It Easy"
14. "Young at Heart"

Not too bad for someone who has a lot going on right now. These are good times for the singer, who is about to become a first-time dad. He sounds like a man in love with life. "I wrote Close Your Eyes about my wife and about the power of all the women in my life—my sisters, my mom, my grandma and all women in general. Let’s face it, where would we be without them? I Got It Easy, another original, is basically a song where I count my blessings and is a reminder to me and everyone to appreciate all the good parts of life. I’m a very lucky guy and I never want to forget it."

Please give his newest works a good listen. I for one really enjoyed it and I hope you will too!

Cottonelle Clean Crew Sample and Share

Toilet paper at our house is always needed!! So when I was selected to take part in the Cottonelle Clean Crew Sample and Share from Crowdtap I was really happy and excited!!

Crowdtap and Cottonelle sent me the following items to help in my sample and share as part of the Crowdtap team:

  • One 18pk Cottonelle Clean Care Toilet Paper (for you)
  • Two 4pks of Cottonelle Clean Care Toilet Paper (for two friends)
  • Three tubs of Cottonelle Fresh Care Flushable Wipes (for you and two friends)

  • Plus, as you can see in the picture, there was a $1.00 off coupon on the toilet paper. Which I am glad for, because I will definitely be buying the Cottonelle Clean Care toilet paper again. My family really liked how strong and thick it was while still being soft enough! They really complain when the toilet paper is too rough :)  The jury is still out on the Cottonelle wipes though. I think that they are a great idea, but everyone in the family had a hard time getting used to using them. I tried them out a few times, but it is definitely something that will take a few more times for me to get used to.

I would absolutely recommend the Cottonelle Clean Care toilet paper! It is great, and it is septic safe which we are always concerned about. We have an older house with a septic tank and have to be mindful of the products we are using. I was impressed that the Cottonelle wipes are also septic safe! Great job Cottonelle-thank you for a wonderful product!!

**I received the above products for free as a member of Crowdtap. They were used to help me review the above product and share my thoughts and opinions with friends and family.**

    Rod Stewart-Time

Rod Stewart has spent four decades being a rock star, three being a parent, and has a new album's worth of rollicking stories to tell. Time is his first album of new material in almost 20 years (and his hairstyle hasn't changed one bit!)

I have always loved Rod Stewart's music and his newest album, Time, is no different. Time, releasing May 7th, 2013, marks Stewart's long-awaited return to his songwriting roots and features 12 tracks, 11 of which he wrote and produced.

The album was born from a burst of inspiration that came while Rod was reviewing his life for his recent memoir. Rod rediscovered his voice as a songwriter and rekindled his gift for writing the honest, nerve-touching narratives that have been the cornerstone to the first three decades of his career.

I feel that like Rod coming back to music, I have come back to loving Rod! When I was little, it seems my parents listened to Rod Stewart's music often and I grew to love it. My Dad (who passed away in 2002) used to always say to me "Have I told you today that I love you?" It always reminded me of Rod Stewart's song, "Have I Told You Lately That I Love You". Rod's music will always have a special place in my heart because of that.

While I loved all the songs on his new album, I think "Beautiful Morning" is my favorite. It is so upbeat and cheery; it would be a perfect song to start each day with!! "Finest Woman" is probably my second favorite. Beautiful lyrics and music. The whole album is wonderful.

"Suddenly ideas for lyrics were piling up in my head," he says. "Next thing I knew, I had a song called 'It's Over' about divorce and separation. And now I was getting up in the middle of the night and scrambling for a pen to write things down, which has never happened to me. I finished seven or eight songs very quickly and I still wasn't done, and it became apparent that I would eventually have a whole album of material to record."

Along with the release of Time, Stewart is set to embark on the European leg of his Live the Life tour on June 1st, while American dates with Steve Winwood will kick off October 17th. Maybe you will be lucky enough to catch him on tour and get to hear oldies and new ones in person.

If you just can't wait, here is a link to the new album that comes out on the 7th of May: Time Album Preview
And here is a link to purchase his new album on Amazon

    Time Track Listing:
    1. She Makes Me Happy
    2. Can’t Stop Me Now
    3. It’s Over
    4. Brighton Beach
    5. Beautiful Morning
    6. Live The Life
    7. Finest Woman
    8. Time
    9. Picture In A Frame
    10. Sexual Religion
    11. Make Love To Me Tonight
    12. Pure Love

Rod Stewart has done a fantastic job with his latest musical endeavor. I really enjoyed every moment of it!!

My Smiley360 Campbell's Slow Kettle Soup Mission

I was really excited when I was picked to participate in the Smiley360 Campbell's Slow Kettle Soup Mission! As part of the Smiley360 crew, I received a soup, some fantastic socks and a ton of really great coupons to share with everyone (or use myself). The soup I received was the Mushroom Bisque. It was very good, easy to make and made a perfect lunch. I love mushrooms so this soup was perfect! It was pretty heavy on the mushrooms, which is nice. It seems like a lot of the mushroom soups are mostly soup with a few shrooms thrown in at the last minute. Not Campbell's-theirs was really delicious. I would seriously recommend this to anyone who loves mushrooms. I have not tried the others yet, but plan to very soon, using some of the coupons of course!

Here is a picture of the Mission Package I received from Smiley360:

I should have taken a better picture of the soup, but you get the idea.

I received the above products as part of my participation in Smiley360. For more info:http://smiley360.com/1225941.cfm

    Gordon Ramsay Dishes at Pennys

So, I love Gordon Ramsay. I think he is handsome, says what is on his mind without worry and is a fantastic chef. So imagine my happiness when across from customer service I saw these absolutely beautiful robin egg blue dishes. When I ran over to them, I was shocked to see Gordon's face on the box. I had no idea that he designed and sold a line of fantastic dishes! They are so pretty. They are a tad expensive tho I must say. For a 4 piece setting; one big plate, one little plate, a small bowl and a coffee cup, it is $20. I would need at least 3 sets, more likely 6 so we are talking $60 to $120. No small expense right now since we are trying to save for college commitments (which is a whole other crazy expense story in itself!) But man oh man, are they beautiful!! I may have to find a way to save up just so I can splurge on these! Thank you Gordon, for an amazing set of dishes that I now lust after!

You can find them here: http://www.jcpenney.com/dotcom//gordon-ramsay-dinnerware-collection/prod.jump?ppId=1e81618&catId=cat100240018&N=1831&topDim=Brand&topDimvalue=gordon+ramsay&dimCombo=Brand%7C&dimComboVal=gordon+ramsay%7C&currentDim=Brand&currentDimVal=gordon+ramsay

    Jeans shopping with two boys!

So both of my boys (my son and my hubby) needed new jeans. Current jeans all have holes in them. Why do they always have to pick up and fall in love with the most expensive jeans in the store? They were very nice jeans I will say. It was really hard to walk around two of my favorite stores and not want to shop all day. Luckily for me there wasn't anything I couldn't live without! The important thing today was getting them new jeans that make them comfortable and confident when they leave the house and go out into the world. We accomplished that! And I got to eat breakfast with my two favorite men :) Plus here in our little slice of heaven it is sunny and beautiful (even though it is quite chilly) and I can see blue sky! A very happy Friday indeed!

Learning To Be Happy Once Again

This will be my very first blog post. I am nervous and excited at the same time. I was fired from my job in January and it has been the best thing that ever happened to me!! I forgot how to enjoy my life and my family to the fullest. I relish being home with them now! In a perfect world, I would never have to go back to work again; sadly this is not a perfect world. Eventually I will have to go back to work, but I hope it is at a place I enjoy and can interact with people with mutual interests and maturity levels. I love being home with my family. I love cleaning and cooking and baking and taking the dogs for walks during the day. I love getting up in the morning. It has been quite a while since I could say that. I hope that this blog gives me another outlet to vent, talk, share, and explore more and better ways to grow my happiness!
